We have learned that gender plays a very important role in the recovery process and that you may feel more comfortable expressing yourself in gender specific groups. Our gender specific paths provide opportunities for you to address issues common to your gender and addiction. We have witnessed our patients feeling more comfortable and having more freedom to express themselves when they are with peers of the same gender.

Men’s Path

Men afflicted by addiction experience unique emotions such as ego, pride and anger. We want you to feel at ease; that’s why we offer all-male workshops and educational sessions led by male counselors, so you can openly address obstacles that stand between you and your recovery.

Women’s Path

Women afflicted by addiction experience unique emotions such as shame, guilt and anger and habits such as perfectionism. That’s why we offer women only breakout group discussions and activities led by female counselors to help create an environment where you’re most comfortable healing.
