Parent & Family Connection is a safe, professionally-facilitated, member-run resource for parents and guardians that have a child (or children) in recovery or actively using. It’s a place to share support, wisdom, and perspective to help cope with the collateral effects of addiction.

The Wilmington Parent & Family Connection meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month.

Facilitator: Alice O’Brien

Alice R. O’Brien is a master’s level therapist licensed in Delaware and a long-term Wilmington resident. She has a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling and her expertise include chemical and process addiction; addictions and their impact on family members, trauma, loss and grief, chronic illness, and life transitions. Alice was an Ashley Counselor before opening her private practice in Wilmington in 2012. She continues to serve Ashley as a presenter for women’s services, pastoral counselor, and facilitator for the Delaware Parent and Family Connection Group.
