Helping your whole family heal.
Total commitment from family—including partners, parents/caregivers, children, other relatives, and support systems—can make all the difference in lifelong recovery. It takes family participation from the entire support system to get well and enjoy every day experiences again.
Our mission in the Family Services Department is to begin to break the generational cycle of addiction and help the family heal as a unit from the ripple effect the disease of addiction has produced.
Connection is the key to recovery! In order to connect in a healthy way with others we must have a level of understanding and the ability to communicate with one another. Our programs tackle these topics/areas as we take a true holistic approach to substance use treatment by bringing the family into the treatment programming. We do not want patient to heal and recover, ultimately leaving the family behind. We want the family and the patient to all enter recovery and heal together because we know the family that recovers together, stays together.
We utilize many different counseling methods and approaches; however, our foundation in the Family Services Department is in the systems theory approach and we utilize evidence-based practices knowing the family adapts to the disease that is present within the family ecology. With education and support can come true and long-term healing/family recovery.
