NovemberFrom the desk of Becky Flood: November marks the beginning of the Holiday season, and I want to begin by personally wishing each and every one of you a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving. I also want to extend my sincere appreciation for your commitment and hard work throughout this transformational year. I hope that all of you have plans to spend some quality time with your family and friends, and relax this holiday season.

I was pleased to see the great turnout for our Town Hall Meeting on November 7^th^. We were especially blessed by the presence of our founder, Mae Abraham, and our dedicated and hardworking board members, Bob Johnson, Dave Nassef, Jim Denvir, and John Finnerty. Messages of inspiration and reassurance were delivered by all. John Finnerty presented a very positive picture of our financial status and we distributed โ€œThe Tydings Tribuneโ€ at the meeting which included comprehensive โ€œFinancial Highlightsโ€ as well as other valuable information. Copies can be found online here.

Those present at the Town Hall recited key phrases of the song โ€œI Need You to Surviveโ€ by Hezekiah Walker:

  • โ€œYou are important to me, I need you to surviveโ€.
  • โ€œI wonโ€™t harm you with words from my mouthโ€.
  • โ€œI pray for you, you pray for meโ€.

The lyrics of this song remind me of our roots. Our founders are prayerful people and our culture embraces spirituality as a foundation of recovery. We should all remember these commitments we made to one another at the town hall meeting, and, if we practice these principles, I truly believe that the sky is the limit on what we can accomplish as an organization.

Regarding Patient Satisfaction, our October numbers slipped slightly but remain strong with 97% of our patients indicating they would recommend Ashley to a family member or friend (this is one point down from September). We still have a few areas where we can improve, but I am positive our staff will continue to work hard to make sure the patient experience remains positive.

In closing, I want you all to know how very proud I am of the outstanding work our staff does each and every day. I am forever grateful for the support that our Ashley family provides to ensure we can provide the best possible experience.

Peace, Becky
