Recovering Together At Ashley
Family can mean many things—parents, siblings, partners, close friends, or anyone providing love and support. At Ashley, we recognize that healing from addiction is not just an individual process; it’s a family journey.

Recovering Together At Ashley Program
Recovering Together at Ashley is an in-person program, developed to offer individualized, intensive support for the loved ones of patients in our residential treatment program. This experience is part of our evolving family services, created in response to families seeking deeper connection, guidance, and healing. While Ashley continues to provide a broad range of family services, Recovering Together is an optional, fee-based program offered in addition to those existing services. This opportunity provides families with education, guidance, and the space to address what comes next: life after residential treatment. Through engaging sessions and evidence-based practices, families will gain insight, skills, and confidence to support both their loved one’s recovery and their own well-being.
The name “Recovering Together” reflects the heart of the experience: recovery is not a solo path—it is one that is walked together, in relationship, with compassion, clarity, and support.
Who Should Attend
This program is designed for adult family members and social support networks of individuals currently in residential treatment at Ashley. It is ideal for those who:
Are ready to explore their own healing and growth
Are seeking additional, individualized support
Want to actively participate in their loved one’s recovery process

What to Expect
Recovering Together at Ashley offers a compassionate, structured experience that supports families and their loved ones as they prepare for the next phase of the recovery journey. This interactive, hands-on program takes place weekly on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8 AM to 4 PM. Throughout this in-person experience, families and patients will:
- Build an Educational Foundation – Through evidence-based practices and Ashley’s legacy of healing with love and respect, families will learn critical skills to support recovery for both their loved one and the family system as a whole.
- Engage in Future-Focused Discussions – Families and patients will be guided to look forward—exploring personal needs, tools, and resources that emphasize healthy communication, accountability, and long-term healing.
- Meaningful Visitation and Reconnection Activities – Families will have dedicated self-guided connection time, along with clinically designed exercises to rebuild communication, foster trust, and reopen pathways to stronger, healthier relationships.
- Individualized Family Therapy – After building a strong foundation, each family will participate in an individualized family session with a licensed clinician, addressing their specific family dynamic and outlining actionable steps for sustained recovery and ongoing connection. This will be an opportunity to have a facilitated discussion about navigating recovery as a family, individual needs, and healthier steps forward.
- Experience 12-Step Support and Peer Connection – Families will participate in an Al-Anon meeting, gaining firsthand insight into the power of peer support while exploring ways to integrate community connection into ongoing recovery.
