Center City Dinner & Presentation
Hosted at The Union League
Thursday, October 26, 2017
6:00pm – 9:00 pm
The Center City Dinner & Presentation is sponsored by the Greater Philadelphia Leadership Council of Ashley Addiction Treatment. It is an annual event to raise awareness that alcoholism & drug addiction are a national problem and every American can and should be involved in the solution: which is treatment and recovery.
Former US Representative, Patrick J. Kennedy (D – RI) will lead a bipartisan discussion about the current addiction epidemic in our country and what needs to be done to slow and reverse the trend. NJ Governor and Chair of the Federal Opiate Task Force, Chris Christie has also been invited to participate in the discussion.
As part of the evening’s program, the Philadelphia Leadership Council will honor Ashley Board Member, Robert S. Johnson, Esq. for his service and dedication to the organization with the presentation of the Community Service Award. Also honored with our first Annual Liberty Award for a newcomer to the field, will be A. J. Solomon, co-founder of Victory Bay Recovery Center in Laurel Springs, NJ.
