DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n\n\nParent & Family Connection is a safe and professionally-facilitated resource for parents\, guardians\, and other family members that have a child (or children) or other loved one\, in recovery or in active addiction. It’s a place to share support\, wisdom\, and perspective to help cope with the collateral effects of addiction. It is open to everyone and free of charge. \nThe Baltimore Parent & Family Connection meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. \nLearn more about Parent & Family Connection  \nFacilitator: Catherine Eckhart \n \nCatherine has had a private psychotherapy practice in Towson\, MD for 20 years. She specializes in co-occurring disorders\, trauma\, addictions\, mood and anxiety disorders and works with individuals\, couples\, and families. Her experience also includes her work at Sheppard Pratt in the dual disorders outpatient program\, facilitating groups\, and individual therapy.  In addition\, Cathy worked with Charter Behavioral Health Systems and Greenspring Health Systems\, facilitating addiction groups for adolescents and their families\, as well as adult addictions groups. \n\n\n\n\n\n
