SUMMARY:The Truth About Marijuana
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a free event to discuss the truth about marijuana. “Safe marijuana use” has been a misnomer for years and the recent changes in its legalization in surrounding areas has resulted in growing confusion. We seek to educate\, increase awareness\, and challenge the allure of marijuana. The goal of this treatmentinformed\, recovery-minded event is to educate attendees about the often minimized and understated risks of marijuana use. \n  \nRefreshments and snacks will be provided.\n1 CEU approved by The Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners. \nPresenter: Gianni Migliaccio\, PA \n  \nGianni began working at Ashley Addiction Treatment in 2015 as a Physician Assistant. He received his PA degree in 2007 from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Prior to his start at Ashley in addiction medicine\, he worked in a variety of specialties including emergency medicine\, forensics\, and orthopedics. He received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from William Patterson University in 1999 and has also worked as a personal trainer. In his time at Ashley Addiction Treatment\, he has enjoyed the gift of serving others and helping people and families recover. He is passionate about the fields of preventative health\, athletic performance\, and wellness and has an interest in helping people maximize their capabilities in various areas of life that will improve the overall quality. \n  \n[raw] \n\n \n\n[/raw]
