SUMMARY:All for Recovery Gala
DESCRIPTION:Raising awareness and supporting diversity\, equity and inclusion in treatment\nSince 1983\, we have been committed to helping as many people as possible who suffer from substance use disorder. Just as it was for our co-founders\, Mae Abraham and Father Martin\, it is vital for us to ensure that people can access our care regardless of race\, gender and financial resources. \nTherefore\, all proceeds from the All for Recovery Gala will go towards our Diversity\, Equity and Inclusion Scholarship Fund (DEI Fund). With this fund\, we want help people of color overcome financial barriers to treatment at Ashley\, raise awareness across the board and support a diverse and inclusive treatment environment. \nLet’s enjoy an evening of fellowship together as we gather for a great cause. \nEvent details\n\nDate: Thursday\, September 22\, 2022\nTime:\n6:30 pm: Dinner Reception\n7:30 pm: Gala Program\n8:15 pm: Dessert Reception\nLocation:\nFour Seasons Hotel\n2800 Pennsylvania Avenue NW\nWashington\, DC 20007\nAttire: Business\n\nThe Michael K. But\, we want to do more than that. We actively want to work towards establishing and maintaining a positive\, safe and healthy work and treatment environment. Learn more about how we do this at Ashley at www.AshleyTreatment.org/Racial-Equity. \nAn integral aspect of building racial equity in treatment is expanding access to care. This includes removing financial barriers to treatment. In partnership with the Release Recovery Foundation\, we provided almost $583\,000 in scholarship care to people of color in the past year. We are committed to growing this support and engaging other partners who are as invested as we are so that we can provide care to as many people as possible\, just like our co-founders set out to do. \nCOVID-19\nAs we look forward to this event\, the health and safety of our guests and the Four Seasons staff remain our top priority. All guests are required to be vaccinated and be able to show proof of vaccination to attend this event.
