Summary

We had a great time at this year’s reunion. The reunion was bursting with fun activities including live music, vendors, beading classes, delicious BBQ fixins’ from Chef Mac and a sneak-peak at our new building, Skip’s Hall for Integrated Addiction Treatment. The kids (and the kids-at-heart) had a great time rock-climbing, moon bouncing and getting airbrushed tattoos. Ashley President & CEO, Fr. Mark Hushen, O.S.F.S. kicked off the event with a worship service that had everyone dancing in their chairs with Dave Stahl and his Sacred Orchestra’s band. The day ended with a very special tribute to co-founder, Mae Abraham, who celebrated her 50th year in recovery with us and expressed her gratitude to all of those who are as passionate as she is about Ashley Addiction Treatment and helping others find recovery. Mae received congratulatory declarations from the Maryland General Assembly’s speaker of the house, Michael E. Busch and U.S. Senator, Barbara Mikulski.
