“Safe marijuana use” has been a misnomer for years and the recent changes in its legalization in surrounding areas has resulted in growing confusion. We seek to educate, increase awareness, and challenge the allure of marijuana. The goal of this treatment-informed, recovery-minded event is to educate attendees about the often minimized and understated risks of marijuana use.
The panel discussion will provide clinical expert research and reflections on the drug’s effect on neural activity, addiction, and social factors. We also welcome the opportunity to host a question & answer session with the audience.
